What Do (You)th Need From the Community

A Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) Project
Part One | Saturday, June 26th
Jerry Gamble Boys and Girls Club

Our Vision

Our vision is to conduct a YPAR project with a cohort of 35 youth ages 13 to 19 asking the question, “What do you need from the community and the adults in your life to feel safe, supported, and successful?” Our core team of community leaders will provide youth with a safe space for them to talk about current events, strategize action steps, and get resources to support their leadership in systemic change.

How You Can Help

We would like to offer you the opportunity to give back to youth by helping us to fund this event. Our core planning team consists of eight, young Black entrepreneurs that are using their businesses and leadership to be change agents in the community. Your funding would support our planning team as well as provide stipends, food, gift bags, and transportation to our youth participants.
